This unit consists of two 400 watt metal Halide lamps mounted on top of an aluminum cart with solid rubber wheels and provides a portable and easily deployed source of hazardous location illumination. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Click Photo to Enlarge Click Photo to Enlarge The two 400W-MH metal halide fixtures on this unit are weatherproof and suitable for use in outdoor marine applications, making this light cart an ideal lighting solution for industrial applications, shipyards, commercial maufacturing and outdoor work areas. The lamp housings are weatherproof and constructed of die cast aluminum featuring a hinged, removable front-access door with two captive closure screws for easy servicing. The optical assemblies include a precision-formed aluminum reflector and heat/impact-resistant tempered flat door glass. The aluminum reflector has a chemically bonded, lightweight, non-breakable ALGLAS® finish on both the inside and outside surfaces providing corrosion resistance, durability and ease of cleaning. The optical assemblies contain a mogul base socket capable of handling the higher pulse ratings of newer HID systems. A dark warehouse, lit only by a distant 100W incandescent bulb. Same warehouse illuminated by the HAL-2X400C.

Made in the USAThe Magnalight HAL-2X400MH hazardous area light tower carries two metal halide lamps capable of illuminating an area 50,000 square feet in size and is rated Class 1 Division 2 Groups C and D as well as wet area and marine environment suitable. The HAL-2X400MH hazardous area light tower provides operators in hazardous locations with a versatile lighting solution for operations where easily managed large scale illumination of the workspace is required. Two 400 watt metal halide lamps provide light coverage for 50,000 square feet of work area while a Class 1 Division 2 Groups C and D U.L. approval assures reliable protection against inadvertent ignitions. This light tower can be extended from 5 to 12 feet in height and the aluminum quadpod includes wheels for easy placement of the tower. This light tower is constructed of aluminum and provides for both height adjustment and leg placement assuring a steady and stable platform. Included with this unit are two 400 watt metal halide lamps and 50 feet of abrasive and oil resistant SOOW cord terminating in an ECP 1523 5-15P Class 1 Division 1 explosion proof straight blade plug. The explosion proof light fixtures can be removed by releasing the hand knob and sliding the light and mounting bracket off of the quadpod center support while the legs can be collapsed, aiding in deployment, storage and transport.
